PRIOR TO INSTALLATION, PLEASE REVIEW ALL INSTRUCTIONS. Confirm proper functionality and secure shrouds in place before sealing headlights.

Headlight Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 100 - 120C (non-fan forced).
  • Place the headlight in the oven for 5 - 7 minutes or until the glue softens.
  • Take out all screws and unclip all clips.
  • Gradually separate the headlight by working your way around it.
    If desired, remove any chrome pieces for painting.
  • Prepare, prime, and paint the parts if necessary.
  • Reassemble any pieces that were removed after painting.

Retrofit Installation

  • Verify the functionality of all equipment before proceeding.
  • Remove the factory globe and globe holder.
  • Place the rubber shock absorber over the projector.
  • Install the projector into the headlight, ensuring the wiring exits at the rear (drill holes if necessary).
  • Slide the H4 Locking Washer over the back of the projector, using the tab-less lock ring to enable projector rotation
  • Align the projector with the divot facing perpendicular to the ground.
  • Install the locking nut and tighten securely.
  • Level the headlights and ensure the projector is firmly in place.
  • Take your time with this step, as adjustments may be necessary for proper fitment.

Re-Sealing Headlights

  • Make certain there is no dust, fingerprints, or marks inside the headlight.
  • Attach the face of the headlight to the rear housing.
  • Preheat the oven to 100 - 120C (non-fan forced).
  • Insert the headlight into the oven for 5 - 7 minutes or until the glue becomes soft.
  • Securely fasten all screws and clips, systematically working around to ensure a complete seal.
  • Confirm that the wiring is accessible and, if necessary, use silicone to waterproof it.


  • Controllers are best to be spliced together and run directly to the battery via a fuse or:
  • Can be run via a park light input.
  • Recommended fuse size is 5Ah
